Near the apartments there are 3 resorts for cross-country skiing fans, which are available in case of sufficient natural snow.

The Gray Bear Tále Golf Course features cross-country skiing on the original golf courses. You can choose one of 4 routes according to your abilities. It is also possible to cross-country ski in Tále in the evening.

Pohanské cross-country trails with a total length of 17 km with beautiful views of the Low Tatras.

The highest cross-country trails in Čertovica at an average altitude of 1000 m above sea level with a total length of more than 30 km are unique of their kind in Slovakia. All cross-country trails can be found:

JASNÁ NÍZKE TATRY

Jasná Nízke Tatry as the largest ski arena with great conditions for winter sports in Slovakia offers endless opportunities of entertainment and active relax on the northern and southern side of Chopok. The resort offers 50 km of perfectly snowed up slopesdifferent difficulty, suitable for beginners, families with children, advanced skiers and also to organize world class competitions. Modern snowmaking system in the length of 36 km offers the snow guarantee for minimum 5 months in a year. The wild ride lovers will be able to enjoy the free ride zones in great snow park. You can ski in the evening on the illuminated slope at Biela Put. The length of the winter season is usually from the beginning of December to the end of April. There are operating 23 cable cars and lifts with transport capacity more than 28 439 persons per hour at Chopok.

SKI TÁLE

One of the most famous resorts in the Horehronie region is located in the Low Tatras below the southern slopes of Chopok at an altitude of 660 - 870 m above sea level

• 6 lifts with a capacity of 4,110 people per hour take care of smooth operation on the slopes.
• Skiers have at their disposal precisely maintained trails for demanding and less demanding skiers, as well as a slope reserved for beginner skiers. The total length of the tracks 2,77 km is artificially snowed.
• During traditional evening skiing , there are 3 ski lifts and track length 1,5 km.

SKI MÝTO

Ski Centre is situated on the northern slopes of the Low Tatras foothils and has 4600 meters of pistes altogether.

Orientation, configuration and exceptional character of the hill with it´s parameters (approved for FIS races) meet all the prerequisites for quality skiing not only for demanding, active skiers but also for less skilled skiers and beginners. In 2020, the hill was slightly modified and a new ski slope for beginners was created. Skiers are taken to the top by a new 4-chair lift POMA UNIFIX with a capacity of 2000 persons / hour, and 4 ski lifts which increase overall transport capacity to 3 600 people / hour.

Evening skiing on reserved days takes place on 2/3 of the slope.

The ski pass can be purchased more cheaply online, faster in a vending machine, but classic cash registers are also available.
